About
Ten years of doing the unglamorous part.
Robyn Goldsmith has spent the last decade in Revelstoke doing the unglamorous work that keeps a mountain town functioning: writing the strategic plans, balancing the budgets, chasing the grants, and getting people who disagree with each other into the same room.
She currently serves as Executive Director of Arts Revelstoke, the non-profit behind many of the community’s festivals and cultural events. Before that, she led destination management and sustainability planning for Tourism Revelstoke, and practised law in Revelstoke for four years, helping community members establish new businesses, solve problems, and navigate the complexities of buying and selling real estate.
Outside of work she coaches women’s mountain biking with Shred Sisters, sits as Vice Chair of the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre, sits as President of Ascent Mentorships, is an artist, gardener, sailor, and avid outdoorsperson.

- Build and manage budgets over $700,000 and secure the grants that fund the work.
